Multicrystalline Wafer,Solar Panels,China Solar Panels

Multicrystalline wafer are made from ingots crystallized in cubic molds, which uses a square melting pot known as a Bridgeman Furnace. After crystallization, the edges of the ingot are removed and the ingot is sawn into rectangular blocks. The surfaces of the blocks are then treated to increase wafer strength. Having sawn the ingots into blocks, blocks are then sliced into wafers using wire saws. The last step in production is to clean, measure and sort wafers.Technically, producing multicrystalline silicon wafer is considered to be less complex than monocrystalline wafer, and therefore less costly to a degree.
